Yea, you read that correctly. Newly signed Nike athlete, Karl-Anthony Towns decided to bust out a “What are thooose?!” (voiceover) on a fresh pair of the Nike HyperRev 2015 that Frank Kaminsky was wearing.
It all happened during a photo session with Panini America in New York City. As a mandatory duty set by the league, all rookies must take part in this photoshoot. We were able to catch Towns in action thanks to the NBA Twitter account that shared the video showing Towns asking Kaminsky “What are thoose?” Although I’m sure Towns was playing around, I’m not too sure it was a wise move for him to clown on a pair of shoes that Nike thinks highly of. Check out the video above and let us know inf the Nike HyperRev 2015 is worthy of getting the “What are thoose” treatment.
I’ll admit, the “What are thoose?” catch phrase was funny when it initially started in what now seems like years ago. But now, it’s getting pretty old, pretty fast. Next.
