Last offered in a monochromatic finish, the Nike Air Zoom Elite 8 returns this season in a more vibrant iteration.
Sporting an official palette of Black/Total Crimson/Optic Yellow, the low-top sneaker is constructed of intricate Flymesh upper that’s shaded mostly in Black, while Yellow threads intertwine across its toe box and side panels. The sunny hue alongside hits of red adorn the collar and rear section as well to give the silhouette a vivid pop. Additional touches of volt and red are also implemented on the flywire system and forefoot Swoosh branding to further punctuate its eye-catching colorway.
All resting atop a clean White midsole unit, the sneaker is rounded out with a black/crimson outsole and additional black accents gracing the tongue, laces and inner lining. Also worth noting, the sneaker inherits a lower 8mm offset which helps keep the weight down, while also allowing elevated traction for superb performance.
Retailing for $115, you can find this bold rendition of the sneaker at Nike retailers now.
I liked it way more in subdued tones. This colorway is pretty appealing as well, but not for my taste. I’m a fan of its design in general.
