Aside from the upcoming collaboration with Liberty of London, the women’s Nike Air Rift is introduced in another colorway for Spring/Summer 2016.

Defined by a graphic upper that takes inspiration from the Great Rift Valley — part of an intra-continental ridge system that runs through Kenya, Africa from north to south — the design is applied via a dyeing technique which features shades of dark obsidian/summit white throughout. Touches of vivid pink located on the heel and toe box provide a touch of vibrancy.

Finished off with a white phylon midsole unit and gum outsole for durable traction, you can find this sneaker/sandal hybrid at Nike retailers now for $160.

Author’s Take

I’m not really a sandal person, but I wouldn’t mind owning this pair. The design is solid and it’s versatile enough for all genders as well. I’d opt for the tonal offerings though.
