The Nike Air Max line has plenty of models that they are able to retro. The Air max 1, Air Max 90 and Air Max 95 tend to be the ones that usually get that treatment. What about the the Nike Air Max ST though? Why can’t it get any love? If we keep our fingers crossed, it looks like that’s about to change sooner rather than later.
Nike Sportswear has begun to show love to some of their past forgotten runners, and the latest recipient looks to be Nike Air Max ST from 1992. The Nike Air Max ST and its signature tear drop air unit, has seen some limited quantity releases here and there but nothing major or readily available to the public. Now it has arrived at select Nike retailers in Asia, which means we can only hope we get a stateside release soon thereafter.
The first thing we are able to locate on the Nike Air Max ST, is the iconic Safari print wrapped up throughout the upper on both of the pairs. The first pair has a white base, while the second pair appears to be predominantly black. Both pairs are rocking on orange swoosh, while the white pair has an orange heel/lining and the black pair has a teal heal/lining. The 2 pairs are a nice breath of fresh air for Nike Sportswear. Although the runners they currently retro have always been a success, it’s always nice to give us more options, especially during these times where runner are a hot commodity and anyone and everyone is wearing them. Keep it locked to KoF, and hopefully we will provide you with good news regarding the U.S. release date of this upcoming Nike retro runner.
