Nike Air Max Penny 1 Lester Middle School

Sometime during the fall of 2023, Nike will be dropping special colorway of the Nike Air Max Penny 1 inspired by Penny Hardaway’s Lester Middle School in Memphis. Penny has a long history and connection with Memphis. Aside from playing for the University of Memphis in college, Hardaway coached the Lester Lions basketball team in the 2010s before taking the Memphis job. Yet to be unveiled, the Nike Air Max Penny 1 Lester Middle School will be dressed in Penny’s school’s colors. Though not an official collaboration with the middle school, the sneaker is expected to look similar to the OG Black and Royal pair, with the major difference being Yellow hits replacing the Royal Blue ones.
