Nike Air Max 97 Sunburst

The Nike Air Max 97 “Sunburst” is part of an upcoming range that pays special tribute to one of the Swoosh’s classic logos. In case you were wondering, the Sunburst logo was designed in 1972 and was created to consider how to translate the asymmetry of a single Swoosh to apparel. Sporting a bold color scheme with Golden Yellow and orange applied on the upper, the base is also contrasted with red and green hues on its distinct wavy profile. Additionally, black adorns the mudguard, while the signature Sunburst logo is placed on the middle portion, which can also be seen on the tongue and insole. Finally, a white midsole, yellow Air Max unit and black/white rubber outsole with a miniature Sunburst logo tops off the design.
