Jacob Burris has a rare heart condition called coarctation of the aorta. Because of that, Jacob needs to have a Dacron tube to keep his heart pumping, thus earning him the nickname Bionic Boy. Because he is a real-life hero and inspiration, Jacob wants to spread the message that something as simple as checking your blood pressure regularly can save your life. His Nike Air Max 95 PRM Doernbecher uses a red and blue color palette as a nod to his hero Spider-Man, a circuit-board pattern that acknowledges his Bionic Boy persona and the words “Check your BP” as a reminder to everybody.
