The original Nike Air Max 1 Shima Shima made its debut back in 2003 as part of Nike’s Shima Shima pack. That pack included three Nike Dunk Highs as well as two Nike Air Max 1 all done in Japanese inspired-colorways. The Nike Air Max 1 Shima Shima 2023 will not be the exact design of either Air Max 1s from the 2003 pack, rather a combination/mix of the two original colorways. Shown below, the sneaker is done in a Sail/Baroque Brown-Neutral Grey color scheme. Details include Japanese-themed tongue tags, a striped sock liner, a leather base and suede overlays.
