For those of you who know their Nike Air Huarache history, you will know that the Nike Air Huarache Purple Punch is considered to be an OG colorway of the model that made its debut back in 1991. You also probably know that the shoe has not made a return to the market ever since. 25 years have passed and Nike think it’s time to give the shoe the retro treatment.

Coming in a White, Black and Purple color scheme, minor changes on the shoe include mesh instead of nylon on the toe box and Huarache logo tags on the tongue instead of the OG version’s unique Nike logo patches. So it’s basically the same shoe with just a few modifications. Available for purchase now, let us know if this is on your wish list.

Author’s Take

You can’t go wrong with this classic colorway. I’m not big on purple when it comes to shoes, but this one I can work with.
