The Nike Air Footscape Magista is one of several Nike Sportswear models to take part in the BHM celebrations. Being included in the Black History Month collection for the first time ever, the Footscape Magista is looking to make a good first impression and hold its own with all the other BHM offerings.
The shoe is constructed out of a black Flyknit that takes care of 90% of the upper. The tribal print that is used on all of the BHM collection shoes subtly appears on the heel wrap of the shoe as well as in insoles and the tab placed on the sock-like collar. The rest of the shoe includes a tonal Nike Swoosh on the side panels, black laces and a contrasting white Footscape sole unit. Slated for a January 23rd release, who’s looking to pick up a pair?
I’m pretty surprised Nike decided to put the Nike Air Footscape Magista into the BHM collection. While I may not necessarily be a fan of the shoe, I’m sure there’s going to be plenty of people to see it in the collection. The only change I’d do on the shoe would be to somehow add more tribal print on to the upper.
