The Nike Air Foamposite landscape has changed immensely since the shoes inception. It went from a classic on court shoe, to a highly touted sneaker amongst sneakerheads, then it turned into a hype engine, and now to somewhere in-between the three. Foams at their peak of popularity had every color as a must cop, especially the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” that dropped during All-Star weekend 2 years ago. Penny himself wore them during the Shooting Stars competition. But he also wore another pair that night which bring us to the Nike Air Foamposite One “Shooting Stars” PE.
The kicks had never been seen before that night and many were manic for a release date. Subsequently none would come. But now they’ve reemerged, invigorating sneaker enthusiasts. We all hope the kicks will receive an official drop. They feature the foamposite tech in white atop an icy blue sole. White stars line the black lace area with the laces coming in royal blue. The blue also takes care of the lining and swoosh. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope for a date. Keep it locked to KOF as we will have more info when it’s available.
