Nike took the time today to unveil their 2016 N7 collection. Calling it the “Move Your Generation” Collection, this year’s N7 collection exemplifies the can-do spirit of athletes and Nike N7 ambassadors Lyle Thompson, a lacrosse player and Iroquois Confederacy Ambassador, and Jude Schimmel, a basketball player from Umatilla Tribes. The collection draws inspiration from the contemporary art work of activist Bunky Echo-Hawk, a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma and Yakama Nation of Washington.
Included in this year’s collection is a Nike N7 Splash Tee for men, a Nike N7 Splash Tank for women, a Nike N7 Hybrid Jacket, a Nike N7 Air Max Tavas and a Nike N7 Juvenate, all which feature bright colors and geometric shapes that signify the arrival of Spring.
The 2016 Nike N7 Spring Collection will be available March 19 at Nike.com and select retailers.
It’s always fascinating what or who the inspiration is behind ever year’s Nike N7 Collection. This year Nike decided to include two silhouettes that get overlooked by many people but I feel that they did a great job with the colors and designs.
