Part of a larger Nickelodeon x Puma collection, this collaborative “Slime” iteration of LaMelos’ MB.02 embodies the slippery substance via its bright Lime colorway that takes care of the entire upper. More of the “slime” aesthetic is evident via the dripping effect spotted on the toe and side panel overlays. Regarding the sneaker’s tech/design, details include a NITRO foam-infused midsole that mimics LaMelo’s signature wings, a theme that extends onto the engineered woven mess upper, and a full-coverage engineered, nonslip rubber compound with a feather tread pattern for enhanced durability and traction with a nod to Melo’s signature wings as well. The signature “1 of 1” branding reiterates that nothing else even comes close to the MB.02. Slime and Rare text appear on the translucent outsole, and dual branded insoles round out the main features of the sneaker.
