Nike Young made headlines this past weekend by wearing the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 on-court as his way of showing that he had just inked a new deal with adidas.
Swaggy also did something that he has never done before on Saturday night during his entire tenure with the Lakers, he had his first ever assist to Kobe Bryant. Whether or not it was the shoes we can’t really say, but Young was definitely turning heads while wearing the lifestyle silhouette from Kanye and adidas. So does that mean that he’ll wear them again? Maybe.
“Yeah, Swaggy P don’t have no limits when it comes to shoes,” he said. “As long as I can play, I’m going to bring some heat out here.”
Well technically he’ll have limits because he’ll only be allowed to wear adidas. Maybe we’ll see him bring out the Yeezy Boost 350s?? As you may already know the Lakers are having another very bad season and wearing statement sneakers like Young did on Saturday makes him feel better about himself.
“You’ve got to do something to try to get your spirits up while you losing and all that, and that’s where I find confidence and my joy and trying to keep doing it, keep doing stuff like this,” he said.
I’m gonna have to agree with you on that one Nick, wearing a fresh pair if kicks always makes one feel better.
