One thing that did not make the trip down to South Beach with LeBron James was his logo. His new team and jersey number all but made the signature L23 image obsolete. So much so in fact that the new Nike Air Max LeBron 8 was devoid of it but being the business franchise that he is we all knew they had a new logo brewing.
During his November 25th sit down with CNBC’s Darren Rovell LeBron was spotted wearing a two-button polo shirt bearing a newly minted LJ logo that could have possibly been the updated version. Well straight from Rovell’s twitter feed we have found out that the image is in fact his logo. Here is what Rovell had to say:
“In his interview with NBC airing November 25th, LeBron is wearing a polo (shirt) featuring his new logo. We are really pleased that it incorporates LeBron’s initials “L” and “J” and retains the crown from his previous iconic logo. The new logo will appear on LeBron’s product in 2011 and on quick strike product.”
