Last month we let you know that the Nike Air Presto was going to get the Flyknit treatment sometime next year. Today we have a couple new colorways made especially for the women. The shoe you see above is currently being called the Nike Flyknit Air Presto Ultra, let’s take a closer look at the construction of the shoe.
The Nike Flyknit Air Presto Ultra comes with an extended bootie to help differentiate itself from the original build of the Air Presto. Coming in an upper made up of Flyknit construction, the shoe is shown in a volt colorway as well as in a teal offering. Another change in the model is the build of the heel cage, which is made designed to be more appropriate to this particular model. Both models are offset by the white midsole to complete the look of the shoe. Although they won’t drop until next year, if you can’t wait that long you can head on out to eBay and pick up these size 10.5 samples today!
For the most part, I feel like Flyknit makes almost every shoe look better. But first impressions tell me that perhaps the Presto looks better in its natural habitat. I may change my mind somewhere down the line, but for the meantime I’m not too impressed.
