Alongside its Grey/Navy variant, the New Balance 574 “Luau” pack for Spring/Summer 2015 is further highlighted as we showcase the silhouette in a Black/Blue finish.
Overall exuding a Hawaiian theme, hence its “Luau” moniker which actually references to a traditional Hawaiian party or feast, this revision of the 574 exudes a more understated flair through its predominantly Black upper. Paired with Light Blue hits gracing the midsole, laces and branding, the pastel-like hue is continued for its lining which also bears a tropical pattern to coordinate with its respective theme.
Further pronounced with White accents on the ENCAP midsole unit, heel tab and quarter panel, final details consist of a Purple-colored “N” branding and heel counter.
I’m a fan of the New Balance 574’s but not particularly in this makeup. As I previously said about this pack, I wouldn’t even think it was Hawaiian-inspired. The color combination also seem a little more feminine so the sneaker can definitely be unisex.
