Following a women’s iteration, the New Balance 530 “Running Woods” pack is continued with this offering for men.
Consisting of two styles, the sneakers’ colorways essentially takes inspiration from nature. One pair is shaded in Grey/Navy to represent flowing rivers, while the other in Brown/Green to evoke trees. Each are constructed of premium perforated pig suede upper, as contrasting leather overlays adorn the vamp, heel tab and top portion of its tongue.
Additional complementing hits of White are prominent on the distinctive “N” branding, inner lining and ENCAP midsole unit. Furthermore, hints of Red adorn the trees-inspired model, while subtle hits of yellowish/tan grace the other pair. Rounded out with a multicolored outsole in its respective colorway, you can find the sneakers at New Balance retailers now for $110 each.
Never purchased this silhouette, but still a fan of the design overall. I’m a sucker for runners and mostly biased towards NB’s offerings. Out of the two, I’d have to side with the Grey/Navy edition due to its versatility.
