While the rest of the country was focused on Election Night (and we all should have been, to be honest), the NBA rolled out three games just to let people they exist on this understandably slow day in sports. Thankfully for those of us who were switching between the news and League Pass, we got to see some of the most gifted and quickest players in the NBA last night do their uh… fast thing (was going to make a fast don’t lie joke there, but I’ll stop out of respect to Derrick Rose).
Moving along, newly signed Jordan Brand athlete Russell Westbrook debuted his special player exclusive Air Jordan 2012 Lite as he led the Thunder to a decisive victory against the Raptors, while JB veteran Kevin Martin represented in the Jordan Melo M8 Advance once more. The Raptors were also representing for Jordan Brand as well, as was Nate Robinson of the Chicago Bulls, although that should come as no surprise to anybody.
But the night belonged to
Barack Obama Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets as he posted 15 points, nine assists, 4 steals and 4 rebounds en route to helping the team get their first victory of the season while rocking the Nike LeBron 9 Elite “Taxi.” Check out the rest of the gallery below and be sure to catch our recap of the best of Week 1 later today.
