Sometimes you just have to drop the hammer early and see if anybody else can catch up.  The race to the NBA Kicks MVP is definitely going to be a marathon that lasts for several months, so P.J. Tucker wearing the Nike KD 6 “What The KD” first game out of the box is not going to be the sole reason whether or not he wins the award.  But if you’re going to make a great first impression, there are few kicks that have come out this year that can top the “wow” factor of seeing them on the court than a pair of “What The” kicks.

Tucker grabbed the headline last night, but there was plenty of new stuff as well, like Kawhi Leonard rocking his white and black Air Jordan XX9, Lance Stephenson making his Charlotte Hornets debut with some AND1s, Elliott Williams breaking out the Nike Kobe 9 EM “Philippines” and much more.
