2014 - April 14 - CoverNick Young saved one of his best for the last Laker home game of the season. After a year that saw him play on one of the worst Lakers teams ever, Swaggy P kept on smiling through the dark times and kept us entertained with his infectious enthusiasm and hot kicks on a nightly basis. Against the Grizzlies, Young wore the much-celebrated Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” in a losing effort (because how else would it end?). Considering we’ve featured Swaggy P at the lead spot more than anybody else this season, is there any doubt as to who the NBA Kicks MVP is? Ok, there is, but we’ll save that for the upcoming recap this week before we start the playoffs.
