On a night when all the focus was on Russell Westbrook’s first big game after coming back from knee surgery (thanks, Patrick Beverley), Kevin Durant was happy to have his buddy taking the spotlight slamming a pair home while rocking the Air Jordan XX8. But more than a few sneakerheads were fixated on Durant all night as he debuted the Nike KD 6 N7 on the court. Designed as a tribute and symbol of awareness of Nike’s N7 initiative, it was a great way to promote the cause.
As for the rest of the night in kicks, we had P.J. Tucker and Terrence Ross rocking Penny Hardaway sneakers past and present, Amir Johnson getting his turn to wear the Air Jordan 5 “Toro Bravo”, Anthony Bennett finally scores a field goal in the Nike Air Foamposite One “Stealth” and much more.
