The 2015-16 NBA exhibition season kicked off last night as the Los Angeles Clippers took on the Denver Nuggets at Staples Center. With only a few days of practice between both squads, high-level play wasn’t to be expected; this was more about getting used to the idea that Paul Pierce, Josh Smith and Lance Stephenson are all Clippers now and that the Nuggets just aren’t going to be a compelling team to watch. See what happens when you get rid of Javale McGee?
Anyways, the NBA preseason isn’t always necessarily appointment television, but there are plenty of new kicks on display. Check out our first recap of the new season featuring Wilson Chandler wearing the Nike KD 8, Chris Paul rocking the Jordan CP3.IX, Blake Griffin flying high in the Jordan Super.Fly 4, Jameer Nelson showing off a unique Nike Kyrie 1 and much more. Oh, and DeAndre Jordan accidentally threw Kenneth Faried’s adidas Crazyquick 3 shoes at a cameraman.
