Oh, Thursday nights in the NBA, how I missed you. With at most three games on the schedule, not only does the NBA and TNT do their best to set up matchups between good teams most of the time but we usually get at least a pair or two of kicks that we have never seen before. Last night delivered in a big way with Derrick Rose hitting a game-winning floater against the Knicks in adidas D Rose 4 “Brenda”, Stephen Curry rocking a new Under Armour Anatomix Spawn PE and Jordan Brand putting together Halloween-themed kicks for their Big 3 of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony.
Paul did not end up wearing his patent leather orange pair of the CP3.VII, but he rocked potentially more newsworthy kicks – because people love their glow-in-the-dark joints – courtesy of NIKEiD. Jordan Brand’s superstar point guard made NBA history by becoming the first player to score at least 40 points, dish 15 assists and collect 5 steals ever since the league started recording steals as an actual stat. I’m sure Ghostface appreciated that effort.
