The ongoing saga of LeBron James and his kicks continues as he wore a red and white colorway of his signature shoes during last night’s game but later on switched to his takedown Zoom Soldier model.
Wait a minute, I thought the 2013-14 NBA season was over? Why are we still talking about LeBron James not being able to wear his signature shoes for a whole game? Didn’t we leave all of that behind last season along with the Nike LeBron 11 and the Nike Zoom Soldier 7? This is a new season and LeBron has already talked about how much he likes the Nike LeBron 12. Surely he won’t see the need to switch over to the Nike Zoom Soldier 8 unless it was to promote them, right? Right?
Well, the ongoing saga of LeBron James and his signature kicks continues as he wore the “Heart of a Lion” colorway of the Nike LeBron 12 during last night’s game but later on switched to the Nike Zoom Soldier 8 “Premium Player” as he sat on the bench and watched his new Cleveland teammates in action. This could mean everything or nothing, we’ll just have to wait and see.
As for the rest of the weekend in kicks, we see the new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2014, Nike Air Max Hyperposite 2014, Nike Lunar Hyperquickness and adidas Crazy Light Boost all make their on-court NBA debuts, Kobe 9s both of the EM and Flyknit variety were on prominent display and of course, we got our fair share of Jordan retros as well. All that and more as NBA Kicks is back!
