The Vans Syndicate collection, which is comprised of the label’s premium offerings styled in outstanding materials and vivid hues, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Vans pays tribute to several original Syndicate collaborators, with this spotlight particularly highlighting the Mister Cartoon x Vans Syndicate Authentic “S.” Renowned tattoo and graffiti artist Mister Cartoon kicks off the anniversary, and noted as the first of five projects. Pays homage to the first official Syndicate project back in 2005, Season 001.01, this Mister Cartoon x Vans Syndicate Authentic “S” is rendered in a predominantly Black makeup with printed canvas quarters and denim toe. Mister Cartoon’s original artwork is also screen printed on the quarter panels and footbed, all while resting atop a clean White rubber sole unit.
