As if we haven’t seen enough of the adidas Tubular in 2015 already, we now get another look at another hybrid Tubular that is scheduled to drop next year.

Being known as the adidas Tubular Doom, this new version of the popular lifestyle runner that made its debut about a year ago has a real comfy look to it. The upper is done in what looks to be adidas’ Primeknit materiasl with two straps that run across the midfoot as well as the toe. In addition to the straps we also see a cage on the side panels that hold together the laces and a large heel counter with adidas branding on it. The most unique feature about the adidas Tubular Doom has to be the extra tall ankle that looks like a sock that’s attached to the shoe. This colorway comes with a tonal grey upper and an off-white sole unit. Can someone say Yeezy Boost 750?

Author’s Take

The more that adidas messes with the Tubular the less I like it. It feels like they’re doing too much with the shoe and making it too different from the norm. I’m gonna have to pass on these.
