LimitEDitions x Asics Gel Lyte 5 “SurrEDaliste”
LimitEDitions has teamed up with Asics on this new pair of Gel Lyte 5s, effortlessly bringing Salvador Dali’s famous painting, “La persistencia de la memoria” (Persistence of Memory), to life. Described by Dali to be a “hand painted dream photograph", the introspective masterpiece places a spotlight on TIME, using his view of Catalonia, Spain "to systematize confusion and thus to help discredit completely the world of reality.” - Salvador Dali Much like the painting, the LimitEDitions x Asics Gel Lyte 5 “SurrEDaliste” collaboration takes design cues from Dali’s original muse, incorporating dark and medium shades of brown, as well as a gradient blue and white pattern to represent the ocean cliffs. Built from a stellar combination of nubuck, suede and leather, the "SurrEDaliste" Gel Lyte 5 is a perfect cop for these chilly Winter months. The official release date is set for Dec. 20, 2014, with a friends-and-family release scheduled for the 13th.
