It looks like LeBron James is rubbing off on anybody who feels they are worthy enough of joining him at his kingdom in Cleveland.
After considering offers from the Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Clippers, free agent Small Forward Shawn Marion chooses to go play with the Cavaliers. Marion who has a championship of his own he won with the Dallas Mavericks back in 2011, he looks to chase a few more along-side Bron Bron with the Cavs.
The Cavaliers were only able to offer Marion a minimum one-year $1.4 million contract, but Marion will join Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, James, and Anderson Varejao on the court this 2014 NBA season. His playoff experience should be a nice addition to the young team, being that the 36-year old has been in the playoffs 10 out of his 15 seasons in the NBA.
Can you blame Shawn Marion for choosing to go with Cleveland? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
