“Discarded by Cavs. Embraced by Wolves”
Despite a rather suspicious start to his NBA career, Andrew Wiggins is right where most people thought he would be: receiving the award for the NBA’s Rookie of the Year. With averages of 16.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game, Wiggins would dazzle the league with a number of highlights worthy of being the #1 overall pick. As the new face of the Minnesota Timberwolves, time will tell if #22 was what it takes to supplant the guy who famously wore #21 there once upon a time (and for a few games this season).
There’s no doubt adidas is overjoyed to have Wiggins on their roster and to celebrate the occasion, they sent out a care package featuring the special edition adidas Crazy Light Boost 2015 in colors that commemorates Wiggins’ Canadian heritage and his current home in Minnesota. Also included in the pack was an adidas Swingman jersey and a special tag that shows off the limited nature of the package. 19 (Wiggins’ age when he came to the NBA) of 22.
