LeBron James is on his way back to the playoffs once again, but this time he’ll be leading a team with young players who have little to no playoff experience. This will be the first time that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love make the playoffs, and like everybody knows, the playoffs are a whole different animal in comparison to the regular season. You have to beat the same team four times in a series that could last up to two weeks. So there is no room for error or “learning as you go”, you have to hit the ground running starting with game one.
Nike knows that, which is why they are ready to begin releasing their “Elite” collection this year that consists of the LeBron 12, Kobe 10 and KD 7. With the playoffs starting this weekend, hopefully we get to see the LeBron lace up this “Ignite” colorway of his Nike LeBron 12 Elite. The sneaker comes with a University Red and Bright Citrus megafuse upper and Bright Crimson accents to give the shoes a nice pop. The traditonal Hyperfuse panels have been slimmed down makes the suhoe more lightweight but still provides great support and lockdown fit.
Look for the Nike LeBron 12 Elite “Ignite” at your favorite Nike retailers this weekend, April 17th, for $275.
I still haven’t picked up a pair of the LeBron 12’s. I have three pairs of the LeBron 11, and while I haven’t been too impressed with the colorways that Nike has released for the 12 so far, this one does catch my eye.
I’m not willing to spend retail on these though, so I hope I can get them Down the line at a discounted price so I can pair them up with my Raptors jersey. #WeTheNorth
