Welcome back to another week where we highlight the Top 10 Stories Of The Week From The Kicks On Fire Instagram. This feature focuses on the top/most read stories of the week as chosen by you, our readers/supporters. The way it works is we post a picture about current sneaker news or an upcoming release on our Instagram account and many times we advise you to “click the link in our bio.” The main goal for that is so we can direct you to a certain piece of news on the site that we feel is important or breaking. It’s a quick way for us to connect you to the site in the click (or touch) of a button.
We’re getting closer and closer to the end of October which means that the NBA officially made its return this week. After a long Summer without basketball, LeBron and the gang returned back to action this week hoping to repeat as champions. It’s gonna be a long journey. Do you think the Cavs can get it done again? Getting us ready for the new season is Nike Basketball as they’ll be releasing the Battle Grey Pack this weekend that features the Kyrie 2, KD 9, and LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 (because of course everyone already forgot about the LeBron 13). Aside from the NBA returning this week, there was a few other big stories including some special Nike Air Force 1 iDs created for Craig Sager, a couple of Air Jordan retros people are looking forward to in the near future, and the release of a new Kobe 11.
10Under Armour Makes It Rain With The Curry 3
The Under Armour Curry 3 made its debut this week in a Warriors-inspired colorway and UA will be wasting no time as they’ll be dropping this “Reign Water” colorway on Friday. This Curry is inspired by Steph’s “free-flowing nature of his movements and the fluidity of his shot splashing through the net.” Retailing for $150, did you cop a pair?

Adidas just officially unveiled James Harden’s first signature shoe over the weekend and The Beard wasted no time turning heads as he debuted the adidas Harden Vol. 1 on opening day against the Lakers. 6The Nike Air Presto Gets Covered In Black And Gold
OK, the majority of this Presto is done in black, but gold is such a vibrant and powerful color that you don’t need too much of it to make a statement. Gold detailing has been added on the toecap and cage of this Presto to give it that perfect pop of color. Will this be the best colorway of the Air Presto we see for the Fall?
5Kick Off The NBA Season With The Nike Basketball Battle Grey Pack
Opening Day of the 2016-17 NBA season saw the Cleveland Cavaliers go up against the New York Knicks as well as the Golden State Warriors face the San Antonio Spurs. Nike signature athletes LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant all wore special “Battle Grey” colorways of their signature sneakers. Dropping Saturday morning, which pair will you go after? 4Nike Gives The Kobe 11 The Oreo Treatment
When it comes to Nike’s Flyknit sneakers, the Oreo colorway is one of the cleanest and most popular of all. Since the Kobe 11 won’t be featured in the Nike Basketball “Battle Grey” Pack (since Kobe has retired), they have created an Oreo colorway of his Kobe 11 that is a real beauty. The black accents and the speckled outsole bring together the entire look. Did Nike do the Oreo colorway justice with this pair?
3An Array Of Colors On The Nike Air Presto
Just like the Air Max 95 colorway that released last year, Nike has given the “Greedy” treatment to the popular Nike Air Presto. Do you like this “Greedy” Air Presto better than the Air Max 95 from last year? Let us know in the comments below.

1The Air Jordan 4 Royalty Is Golden!
Yes, there’s an Air Jordan 4 releasing this weekend. But is anybody really trying to pay $400 for one pair of sneakers? I know I’m not. The Air Jordan 4 that everyone has their sights set on now is this upcoming Royalty colorway which features a premium black nubuck upper with subtle hits of Metallic Gold on the eyelets and branding for the perfect contrast. The good news is that these are rumored to release in January. The great news is that they’re expected to retail for $190. I can already picture these on my feet. Too clean!!!
