Abandoning the traditional Cortez look, this new version of the Cortez features no laces but instead a slip-on construction. The traditional tongue is still there, but there are no holes for laces to be put on. The shoe features a white nylon upper with Wolf Grey, Thunder Blue, and Turf Orange accents. Finishing details include a lace toggle system on the heel and “HOUSE SHOES” written down the tongue. The inner liner also reads “PREFERABLY WEAR WITH SHORTS AND TALL SOCKS.”
The Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Basic Slip is currently scheduled to release on September 22nd for $100. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more images.
