Kanye West was on the radio talk show “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” this morning and spoke in length about the the Grammy’s that occurred on Sunday. In the final minute or so of the interview Seacrest brings up the adidas Yeezy Boost that will be releasing this Saturday exclusively in NYC (for the time being) and West explains the availability and price point.
Kanye says, “I want to apologize to all the kids and all the parents that can’t get the shoes currently because there’s only 9,00 and also because they’re $350 and if they’re out of anyone’s price range.” He goes on to say that he wants everyone to be safe and be patient because there has been a lot of violence in the sneaker culture. He also said that adidas will make more Yeezy’s and that eventually everyone who wants to get a pair will get one.
So that should be some good news for everyone who wants a pair of the new adidas Yeezy Boost. The more important point here folks is like Kanye said, Be safe! Don’t do something stupid just to get a pair. Be patient and you’ll eventually get your hands on a pair.
