The OG version of the K-Swiss Surf N’ Turf is coming out of retirement and for good reason. With K-Swiss celebrating its 50th anniversary, they thought it was only right to bring back one of their true OGs.

Initially released back in the ’70s as a tennis shoe, the shoe was considered the brand’s first canvas constructed sneaker. Now in 2016 K-Swiss is re-releasing it in its original form. The shoe will come in a lightweight canvas breathable upper paired up with the traditional rubber vulcanized sole unit. The classic White colorway will release, while two special edition colorways, “Cerulean Blue” and “Ribbon Red,” will assist in giving the model a bolder look. Available now, each pair is priced at a reasonable $65.

Author’s Take

The shoe is about a decade ahead of my time, but I respect the classic and vintage look of the model. The white pair screams OG and the blue and red accents matches perfectly with the tonal upper. Not bad at all.
