Appropriately revived for Jordan Brand’s 30th Anniversary, the newest Jordan Son of Mars Low dubbed “Hornets” or “Turquoise Blue” has officially been revealed, after sitting dormant in Jordan Brand’s archives during the past two years.
In terms of its unique build, this hybrid sneaker boasts an amalgamation of Air Jordan elements, particularly the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, 6, and 20 into one dynamic profile. Dressed in White for its leather upper, the sneaker receives Elephant-print trim along the toe cap and rear – reminiscent of the Air Jordan 3, while reinforced by dual Nike Air units on the Air Jordan 4-inspired sole unit which is dipped in Midnight Navy with Turquoise speckles.
Further pronounced by Midnight Navy gracing the tongue, lining and rear badge, alongside pops of Turquoise on the outsole to cap off its respective theme, you can find the Jordan Son of Mars Low “Hornets” at Jordan Brand accounts starting April 24th for $140.
In addition, GS sizing (3.5Y – 7Y), will be available as well for a suggested retail price of $120.
It needs some Purple instead of Midnight Navy if this is Hornets-inspired. Nevertheless, the sneaker looks pretty clean. 😏
Although I’m not too keen on the silhouette itself, this pair should garner a lot of attention either way.
