Don’t look now, but the release of the Air Jordan 1 High Pinnacle in the Vachetta Tan colorway is only a few days away! Jordan Brand turned 30 this year, and as part of their year long celebration they have given us a few colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle. This upcoming colorway may be the best one yet! Let’s take a detailed look at this anything but ordinary pair of Jordan 1s.
The Air Jordan 1 High Pinnacle differentiates itself from the past models for the simple fact that it comes with a leather upper instead of a synthetic snakeskin construction. Opting to go with a monochromatic look, the tan leather upper takes care of the entire upper. The tan upper is then complimented by the sail colored sole unit. The Wings logo on the ankle comes is actually a patch this time around, which is definitely a nice touch to the look of the shoe. The pair will also come with leather laces, as well as another pair that comes with screw-on lace tips with Jumpman branding on them. Additional branding is seen on the heel by way of a “MJ23” and “1985” placed on metal plates. Completing the look is the embossed Nike branding seen on the tongue tag of the shoe. Releasing September 26 for $400, are you trying to pick up a pair?

I’m not gonna lie, this is a clean and luxe rendition of the Jordan 1, I just find it hard to dish out $400 for a pair. Beautiful looking shoe, it’s just too expensive for me.
