Kanye West may have already left Nike to join adidas, but that doesn’t mean that his influence and style isn’t still present with the Swoosh. I mean we just saw the “Gym Red” Foamposites release a few weeks ago that everyone was calling the “Red October” Foams.

Now another familiar Yeezy colorway will be hitting another Nike sneaker, but not one that you may have expected, it’s actually a Jordan Brand sneaker. The Jordan Son of Mars is set to release in a colorway that is undoubtedly inspired by the Nike Air Yeezy. Resembling the “Blink” colorway from the Nike Air Yeezy line, this Son of Mars sports an all black upper with a grey midsole and lime green outsole. Finishing off the Yeezy similarity is a red inner lining that isn’t exactly the same as the pink color we see on the Yeezy, but it’s close enough to call this the “Yeezy” Son of Mars.

Do you think Nike should just drop the Yeezy influences on their sneakers or do you want to see more?

Author’s Take

It’s clear that Kanye West isn’t completely over his past relationship with Nike, but it looks as if Nike also feels some type of way. As hugely popular (and hyped) as the Nike Air Yeezy sneakers were, I can understand where the disappointment comes from that the two parted ways, but when are you just gonna drop it and move on?

It feels like two exes going back and forth bickering about the past. Come on Kanye and Nike, #JustMoveOn
