In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Adidas Originals has teamed up with old school hip hop group “House of Pain” in order to create this House of Pain x Adidas Originals Campus 80’s. Although this shoe is a holiday release, House of Pain put their very own creative spin on the classic by way of added features including; “Fine Malt Lyrics” printed in golden text parallel to the signature stripes and also stitched in green on the tongue tag. The shoe also features green suede which contrasts nicely against the white mid-sole; the heel contains white leather wedged between red and light green suede.
What really gives this shoe its extra dose of personality is the House of Pain X Adidas emblem stitched to the tongue tag and resembles the group’s rise to success on its very first album. Only 1500 pairs of this shoe have been produced and they will officially launch at Concepts in Boston on St. Patty’s Day along with a matching Celtic’s jersey. Via HighSnobiety.
