The Nike Air Mag is the ultimate hypebeast sneaker. There’s just something about having a sneaker so limited and rare that attracts people to “needing” it.
With rumors currently swirling about the Nike Air Mag possibly releasing later this month with power lacing, an interesting pair of Air Mags has recently popped up in the internet. This pair of Mags is one of the original props that was used in the Back To The Future Part II movie and is now up for auction. It’s crazy to see how the shoe has withstood the test of time and is still intact. While the pairs that released in 2011 via auction were sold for prices that ranged between $5,000 and $10,000, the staring bid for this original pair is nowhere close to that. How much is the starting bid you ask? $30,000.
So if you have that kind of money to blow and would like to own the pair of kicks that was worn by Marty McFly in the actual movie, here’s your chance. Or you can just wait for the eventual release of the 2015 Mags and hope you get lucky. Your choice.
