The 2016 NBA All Star Weekend may still be about 9 months away (February 2016), but the NBA officially released the All Star logo today in preparation for next year’s festivities.

If you didn’t already know, All Star Weekend will be taking place in Toronto next year, yeah Canada! As a die-hard Toronto Raptors fan I’m really happy that the loyal fan-base from The 6 will be playing host to the star studded weekend that attracts people from all around the world. The official logo that you see above places the iconic CN Tower, where the announcement was made, as the point of focus. Canadian star Andrew Wiggins was on hand for the official unveiling along with Toronto deputy mayor Denzil Minnan-Wong and outgoing MLSE President Tim Leiweke.

The official NBA All Star Twitter account also unveiled some alternate logos, including one that utilizes the Maple Leaf which is known as the national symbol of Canada.

I’m already looking to forward to see what sneakers will be releasing that weekend. Maybe a Drake x Jordan Brand collaboration? What do you hope drops?
