The inspiration behind the Nike Kobe 10 “Vino” is Kobe’s understanding that success “stems from relationships with teammates away from the court, the kind of bonding that occurs over team dinners with wine.”
Featuring a Poison Green upper, the Nike Kobe 10 “Vino” is scheduled to release this upcoming Saturday, March 7th for a retail price of $180. The green color tones comes from green grapes that are used for white wine, the kind that Kobe and his Laker teammates would drink over dinner. The name Vino can also be interpreted to define Kobe, since vino is wine in Spanish, Kobe’s game seems to get better with age just like fine wine does. Well that was until the last couple of years that cut his season short due to injury. Here are images of the GS version that will also be releasing at Nike retailers on Saturday. Will you be lacing up the little ones as well or will the entire family pass on this Kobe 10?
