The New Balance 997 “Flint Grey” promises to deliver you quality, comfort and function all in one. Coming in a distint colorway, let’s take a closer look at this version of the New Balance 997.
The base of the upper is predominantly black and blue. The buttery black suede dresses the mudguard, side panels and heel of the shoe. A royal blue mesh takes care of the toe box, while a soft blue leather adorns the tongue, ankle collar and heel tab of the shoe. Hits of red appear by way of the tongue and “N” branding and lastly the upper is completed by grey accents found on the vamp and eyelets. The midsole is dual colored made up of grey in the back portion and white in the front. Available now at select New Balance retailers and priced at $200, is the New Balance 997 on your radar?
I know what you’re thinking, “Damn, 2 bills for some New Balance 997s?!” Before you go any further, let me tell you this. A “Remastered” Jordan retro goes for $190 plus tax right? I’ve heard of people saying that the “Remastered” Jordan still come with, creases, glue stains, poor craftsmanship, etc, and people still stay buying them! If you don’t mind taking that risk and buying Jordan’s for around 2 bills, that’s fine. But, if you’re looking for superior quality, craftsmanship and materials, New Balance will not disappoint.
The $200 price tag may scare some people away, but when you really think about what you’re getting (quality) for That Price, it really isn’t that crazy of a price tag.
Shout out to New Balance for always delivering dope quality products!
