Earlier this month we told you guys that London-based Foot Patrol has teamed with Fila to craft this new version of the Fila Trailblazer hiking boot. This past Friday, the two introduced the collaboration to the public, holding a release part, which was flavored with Jamaica’s finest, Red Stripe. Check out the images, as well as the official press release below:
We have worked closely with FILA to resurrect the shoe close to it’s original form. The Trailblazer features a full suede upper with a robust black midsole sporting the classic FILA Logo, hiking D-Ring lace holes with the “˜Mountain’ logo rubber label stitched on to the ballistic mesh tongue. Other details include cord style laces and tonal stitching on the upper.
With the Trailblazer AM, the “˜AM’ referring to the Apennine Mountains located in San Marino, Italy, which was the birthplace of the brand, we wanted give the model an up to date twist. We added the blown rudder outsole, a tan leather beading, smooth nubuck for the upper and low key Footpatrol branding on the inner heel and some subtle changes to the profile.
