Back in the 1990s, Fila created a shoe named the Fila Trailblazer. It became a classic shoe that has a strong following, especially among the British youth. Although the shoe was designed to be a trekking shoe, much of the younger crowd wore it casually because they felt the shoes had a “cool” aspect to them. Two decades after its initial debut, Fila has decided to bring back the Fila Trailblazer.
The Trailblazer pays homage to the youth culture as it just dropped in four new colorways: Black, Bike Red, Espresso and Pine Cone. The entire shoe appears to remain true to form, with features such as the metal boot eyelets, leather construction and branding on the side panels and tongue remain intact. The shoes dropped today and can be had for the retail price of $132.
I’m always a fan of shoes getting the retro treatment. If people want the shoe, the brand should listen and bring them back. I hope everyone who wants a pair doubles up because you never know when these will retro again.
