Ewing Athletics got into their time machine and traveled back 25 years to find inspiration for the newest colorway of the Ewing 33 Hi. The date was February of 1990 and the location was Miami, Florida where the 1990 NBA All Star Game was taking place.
Patrick Ewing was the starting center for the Eastern Conference All Stars and during this game he debuted the standard Ewing 33 Hi. Ewing Athletics says that if they were able to go back in time and design an All Star sneaker for Ewing it would look a little something like this. Drawing inspiration from the 1990 All Star Game logo, a suede teal base dominates most of the sneaker while a royal blue and white polka dot pattern can be seen on the toebox. Red accents on the branding add even more contrast followed by a white midsole.
The Ewing 33 Hi “All Star” does not have an official release date yet but it is expected to release around All Star weekend in February. What do you think about this colorful Ewing 33 Hi?
