The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Dunk Low was revealed during the brand’s SS20 collection at Paris Women’s Fashion Week. Initially introduced during the SS20 Comme des Garçons runway show, the two customized styles honor Nike’s classic silhouette while featuring a modified upper made of Nexkin, a translucent stretch-woven fabric that is lightweight, breathable and conforms to the wearer’s foot. Both versions, one a CDG all-over monogram print and the other a simple black, highlight the potential of layered color to give the flat Nexkin a sense of texture and dimensionality.
