If you didn’t think that the Nike Air Force 1 was still a dope sneaker, then think again. I mean of course they’re not as popular as they were back in the day, but the AF1 will ALWAYS be a classic. Nike continues to revamp the the basketball sneaker from the 80’s with their latest creation being the addition of a visible air unit.

Here we have the Air Force 1 AC that made its debut last year. This revamped AF1 features a slimmed down profile and an autoclave sole for a more casual look. This version comes with a new fleece upper in heather grey, which differs from the traditional canvas upper that we’ve seen in the past. The Swoosh is done in a darker shade of grey with black accents taking over the laces and inner lining. Down below is the autoclave rubber sole done in white to provide a nice contrast to the upper.

Are you looking forward to this new grey fleece colorway of the Air Force 1 AC to drop in the states?

Author’s Take

I’m a big fan of the Air Force 1, especially the all white lows, mids and highs. The only thing that sucks about them is keeping those bad boys clean. I’m not too big a fan of this fleece upper, I picture them to feel hot during the Summer and will probably get dirty really easy too. I’ll just stick to the classics.
