Kobe Bryant has been selected for his 17th NBA All Star Game adding another accolade to his already decorated and legendary career. The bad thing for him and us (the fans) is that he will not be taking place in the game because he just tore his rotator cuff a couple of weeks ago and underwent surgery last week to repair it.
While we won’t be able to see the Black Mamba until next season we will be seeing an “All Star” colorway of his new Nike Kobe 10. Releasing a week after the debut “5AM Flight” colorway that releases this weekend, the Nike Kobe 10 “All Star” keeps it simple but colorful. Inspired by 1964’s New York World Fair that showcased groundbreaking ideas, this Kobe 1o is also a mix of Nike’s best invention all together in one silhouette.
A black upper covers the sneaker while an orange and green gradient midsole add some color down below. Key components of the Kobe 10 include dynamic traction and a hybrid cushioning system that makes them perfect for the court. Make sure to pick up the Nike Kobe 10 “All Star” at select Nike retailers on February 13 at select Nike retailers.
