This past Saturday, June 12, 2010, Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony made an appearance at Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York. He was there to promote the release of the Future Sole Melo M6 shoe. In case you didn’t know, Future Sole Design Competition was created by Nike and Jordan Brand to discover and develop footwear designers of the Future. In this particular case, winner Austin Jermacans designed a pair of Melo M6, which officially released back on May 9, 2010.
Carmelo stayed for a while at HOH, taking part in an interview in front of lots of his fans. Other topics discussed included some information on his upcoming Jordan Melo M7, his shoe collection, and how came to love the game of basketball. Also, he took part in a short question and answer session with the audience.
